Carlton trains at Ikon Park (Princes Park), 400 Royal Parade, Princes Hill. The club will often have “Open Training” sessions where Carlton supporters are welcome to watch. Check the club website for the latest details.
Tram: Take the #19 tram from the city or from outside of Melbourne Central Station on Elizabeth Street. This tram stops right outside the ground
Train: Take the Upfield train to Royal Park (Melbourne Zoo) and walk to the ground. It is around a 10-15 minute walk.
For training, there is limited parking available on Royal Parade. Parking is ticketed by the hour (up to 8 hours). Ticket machines now take cards.
For pre-season, VFL and AFLW matches, the parkland will sometimes be open for parking. Take our advice, take public transport instead.
Naughtons Hotel: 43 Royal Parade, Parkville (you will often see Carlton Live members here during interstate games). It is a bit of a walk from Ikon Park – so we suggest a tram (towards the city) if you are not able to walk a long way.
Basically anywhere in Lygon Street will be all smiles if you turn up in your Carlton gear.
Traditionally, Carlton’s home ground is at Ikon Park (Princes Park.) AFL games have not been played there since 2005. Carlton’s home games are either played at the MCG or Marvel Stadium (Docklands.) AFLW and VFL games are still occasionally played at Ikon Park.
