Carlton 2020 season the run home: Round 14.

5 to play and the race for the 8 is getting tighter and tighter. We are currently 6 wins and 6 losses or 24 points. We are out of the 8 by 1 game and percentage but we have 1 game in hand. As supporters, we will be keeping a close eye on not only our performances but those in the mix for the 8. Currently those other teams are:

St Kilda – 32 points. Probable safe
Collingwood – 30 points. Draw gives them an edge but are playing ordinary footy
Western Bulldogs – 28 points
Essendon – 26 points
Melbourne – 24 points
GWS – 24 points
Freo – 20 points

St.Kilda look safe unless the wheels really fall off. Collingwood is at risk of missing, being a game down and having to play the top 2 teams. WB isnt poised much better. Essendon has a nightmare run of 3 in its last 4 and are a game down with the points from their Hawthorn encounter already added. Melbourne has an ok run home but are up and down. GWS have a tight run and Freo are rough outsiders.
